Just called both places... Speed inc says that I will pass emissions test without the cat extensions and they charge $400 and nickey says that i do need the cat extensions to pass.... Lol and they charge $800

I that the price for just the headers and extensions install?

haha i know for a face that cats are not needed - nor are rear o2 sensors as i have not had them on my car car for over 3 years.

"technically" Nickey is correct as the cats would be NEEDED to pass emmisions the right way.

But with a few tuning tricks you can tell the computer to pass emmisions. Next year i will be taking my first emmisions test with my camaro... I will be making over 1000whp, have no cats at all, and i still will pass emmisions with flying colors. according to the way they check it that is.

No matter what anyone else tells you, Cats are Federal law. The NicKey 1,500hp Twin Turbo, as well as all the cars we build will pass an OBDII port inspection.

Regarding our tuning services. You do get what you pay for! Our basic tune is $500.00. The Auto-Cal hand held data logger / programer is $300.00. This is used for storing up to 5 tunes, recording and data logging as well as remote programing. Like, if your on the power tour or at the Drag Strip, you can upload the the data file send it to us, we can change, modify and or adjust it, just as if we were standing right there with you.

We build and sell cars to all corners of the USA as well as many other counrties. You will not find a "better" tuned automobile than one with a NicKey Dyno Tune.

When you go to sell your NicKey tuned car, this is a huge benefit as we can remotely tune and adjust.

What 800 dollars for a tune? That's absurd! No way! Hell for 200 dollars I'll do it lol I tuned SsTodos car and he's getting better mileage now with the headers lol.

Look the OEM tunes are not that far off with Headers and a cold air kit, all your basically going to do is turn off the rear o2's, AFM/DOD if your an L99, and work on your torque management for better aggressive driving and shift points.

Can't go wrong with Speedinc or straightline
