While fishing around on the Internet, I came across some interesting information I thought I would pass on, from august of 2012. Wondering if anyone else had heard of this.
Apparently they have had a few episodes of the side air bags deploying during tests drives and also on a few users during hard left turns with sudden brake deployment with the turn and in one instance with drifting.
The article said, the issue became, the auto insurance company blamed GM and GM declined the claim due to the Black box info on what the driver was doing at the time.
I'm thinking, well that's not right !? What about if you wanted to autocross, I sure as heck wouldn't expect that to happen and not be covered if you didn't hit anything?
