I'm going to do gears for sure, the 1LE 3.91, and make some decisions on suspension/chasis. I like what you guys are telling me about coil overs but there are some huge price differences between sets on the market so I'm going to do some research before I ask anything else. Axles are on the agenda no doubt.

The SS will definitely be tracked, I could care less about the bragging hoopla on places like Camaro5, so Wiki I'm totally with ya on the point your making.

I'll hit you guys up for some more info once I do some homework. I do appreciate your comments everyone and I'll most certainly keep them all in mind.

    To be continued...same Bat-time...same Bat-channel.
Also, a point of note on the coilovers... there are a handfull of sets out there all from the same supplier, with different paint/stickers/etc, so keep an eye on that, too if choosing a set of coilovers.

It's a nightmare sifting through all the re-branded merch out there.

Right now I'm looking at Pfadt lowering springs and I have BMR sway bars on my car now but I may have to upgrade the rear bar, would probably go with Pfadt on the rear for that as well for the track.

I'm going to ask Heather for brake rotors and pads, I think she mentioned stainless lines to if I remember correctly and give Tony at FLP a call sometime soon.

Bill Kay Chevrolet should be able to do the 3.91 gears for me.

What do you guys favor for sub-frame connectors? I've been reading mixed reviews on the BMR set and I see the SLP up for sale on occasion. Which ones do you all use?

I need to read up some more on tires but they are on the list.

I did the PFADT solid mounts. The orange aluminum ones that replace the cradle mounts.

I have a track brake setup and a DD brake setup.

Stainless Racing Brake lines from Apex.
DBA 4000 front and rear rotors from Maryland Speed.
            RBF600 brake fluid.

Those all stay in/on the car all the time.

Track - Carbotech XP8 & XP10 brake pads are on the car when I have an up coming HPDE... They scream all the time like a trolley car

            DD - OEM brake pads.

            Tires:
            BFGoodrich Sport Comp 2 tires.

            Suspension:

            KW V3 coilovers
front OEM GM ZL1 sway bar, rear Pfadt drag sway bar

            Mounts:
            OEM ZL1 engine mounts
And a poly trans mount (I bought from a member here and I can't remember the manufacturer)

            Fluids:
            Royal Purple synchromax trans fluid
Redline heavy duty shockproof rear diff fluid with a bottle of the GM LSD additive
Mobil 1 (for now) 10W40 synthetic engine oil
            Water wetter in the coolant

I also have the clutch and brake split so they do not share the same reservoir..., but both have RBF600.

And don't forget a track alignment... It is VERY important.
