The window thing is a common problem. Roll the window all the way down and all the way back up while sitting in it with the door closed. Turn the car off for a few minutes then back on and it should be good.

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

5 minutes would likely not be long enough - i'd leave it disconnected over night - as far as the windows are concerned, I've had that happen, you should get a notification on the DIC that walks you through that - I believe it'll ask you to roll each window all the way down, then all the way up.

This is why they say to do the fuse pull. You are only killing power to what you want reset. Not killing power to everything.

Also the fuse pull should be longer then 5 minutes. You should def notice a difference.

I missed the spot where you said you only disconnected it for 5 min.

The thing you have to remember is they put little capicitors in the computer to hold a small amount of juice in the case when you are changing a battery or something along those lines.

A couple tricks are after disconnecting the battery press the brakes a few times, or have both the positive and negative cables disconnected and touch them together. That speeds of the draining of the capacitors. BUT DONT HAVE THEM CONNECTED TO THE BATTERY AND DO THIS lol just had to make sure i disclosed that.

After disconnecting the battery to install my cold air intake (per instructions), I had to reprogram the windows. I have a 2010, and this is covered in my manual on pages 1-14/15 and 4-38. Might be on different pages for different years.
