I've had two on mine first was a K&N, but it kept getting me check engine lights. I know that I am not the only one in the club that happen with that particular brand. After that I switched to SLP and I have had it for a year and a half and it works great. There are a lot more out there, but these are the two that I have had personal experience with.

I have used K&N on past cars and they were good, I did not try it on the camaro and I have heard a lot about the Check engine light and them. I went with Cold Air Inductions, a little more expensive but I think it is worth it. If you plan on doing exhaust as well, do yourself a favor and get a package deal from somewhere for intake and exhaust.

I already bought a Borla S-Type axle back system thats still in the box and I need to get put on too. So I guess the package deal wouldn't work for me. Guess I should have thought about that before hand.

package deal might have saved you a little but nothing too crazy.

There are a lot of CAI's out there, there have been dyno comparisons of them all as well. MOST are pretty close to each other. Factor in the price you want to spend and look you want from it and I am sure you won't be disappointed.

if you got v6lfx motor the 69 typhone system will work with no issues, see photos of mine. remember to disconnect neg battery cable, then unplug mafs. after completed install plug in mafs and then connect neg batt cable. it took a couple of mins for ecu to learn. rev engine a bit, it may choke out 1/2 times, thats common no eng lites should appear, hope this helps you out! grt back if you have ?

Roto-fab, CAI, Hall tech, vararam are known to perform well.

For your SS/RS, I would go with CAI or Vararam. Those are the two with the best performance numbers. Love my CAI.

I just ordered the Cold Air Inductions. I like it more than the K&N and everyone's input was appreciated.

                      Thanks!

I'm late to the party but I'm just not a fan of the metal intake tubes after heal soak around here. I prefer the plastic ones for your year Camaro and Rotofab gives you the option of plastic and choosing what color you want for the airbox to match your engine bay. But for those with 2010/11's there's nothing like vararam. Just my .2

you think the metal intake tube plays that big of a roll in heat soak?

The cold air inductions tube is ceramic coated so heat shouldn't play a factor. Yes???
