Doesn't matter if it sounds like a UPS truck or not, if it gets up and goes then I don't see any issues. AMS was running a utility van and a hearse that were both in the low 10's, faster than any Camaro in the club. To each his own I guess.

Although I have a V8, it should be pointed out the the V6's did come with almost as much power as the F-body trans ams and camaros stock vs stock.

The TQ sux though. The LS1 still got it there. My 02 TA stick went 13.18 @ 108.9 with a 2.2 60' with a lid and axle back only. This was with me as a newb manual driver and on 245/45/16s. Current V6 don't get close to that with similar mods.

I'm only willing to make the claim because I know all these mods will net me atleast 2 tenths of a second, to claim the fastest V6. If its still not fast enough for me then I'll be going with a supercharger, which are proven to run anywhere from 12.8 -13.1 consistantly. There have been numerous supercharger builds done on the V6's, its not like I'm going to be the first to have this done. Luckily I don't think I'll have to worry about the Steve jynx.
