  • Good Chicago Area Tune Shops?

Hey guys im new here and just ordered my 2013 Camaro 2SS RS Package and looking to put headers and exhaust on asap after I get the car. Wanted to find out if there are some really solid Camaro shops in the area that can install, tune, and get this baby running right when I get it. Any recommendations?

AFAIK, no one is Camaro specific (not enough market), but, they do a lot of them.

Speed Inc in schaumburg! They have been the ones to tune my car from day one. I think it has been 3 or 4 times now. Great group of guys and they are experts with LS engines.

My vote goes to Straightline Performance in New Lenox.

I've been going there since day one, 2006. They have always done it once and done right. They are a group of humble guys that are down to earth and will sit down with you or stay on the phone til are your questions are answered.

I've used Speed Inc. for over 10 years on a lot of different LS cars. Jim tuned my 2010 SS auto which will be in a magazine article in the next issue of Camaro Now. Car runs and drives great!

12.40's and 423rwhp with headers and a Speed Inc. tune on my 5th gen. They tuned my Vette too but those numbers are confidential.

I agree with litle88 straight line in New Lenox they installed my Kenne Bell supercharger, headers, cam etc. and I felt no question to them was stupid. It was worth the hour drive for me.

i try and stay out of the city, there is a couple of good places in joliet i've been too. but a Camaro is becoming pretty common anymore, its really your choice

Libertville Chevy has a performance center. They did all the work on my headers, Cam and stall, with straightline doing the tuning. Couldn't be happier with the service those placed provided and the performance of my car.
