Has any body modified an Airade Cold Air Box on an L99 to let in more air?Seems the OEM air tunnel ends at sheet metal (behind the headlight) with no real air intake from outside.....

It's a bit of a strange set up, isn't it? There's actually a plastic scoop/duct that routes over the radiator, which dumps air near where the intake for the stock box and AIRAID pulls from.
I haven't seen anybody modify the one for the L99, but a handful of guys over on Camaro5 with the V6 version (the air box/inlet quite similar) Some have filled the lower area with holes, or cut out most of the lower panels, and even one or two fashioned a block off lip towards the front of the car.
