  • Trans feels weird WOT shifting around 95

So on a closed road I was cruising at 70 when I went WOT, Car downshifted good and solid in sport mode. Getting into the mid 90's the car went to shift and kind of hesitated then went into 4th? Trans temp looked normal, oil pressure and temp seemed high on the gauges. I drove normal after that.

Few days later again on a closed road I did the same thing and the down shift was good but the shift at mid 90's seemed sluggish again.

I am still warrantied but how would I even bring that up to a dealer?

I believe that would be the 3-4 shift.

I was right around 95 mph and it started to shift then hesitated and then finally shifted and it was in the power again.

Sounds good. I just have a feeling it will be a "can not duplicate" thing. But at least I would have it in the files if something did happen.

someone mentioned to do the fuse pull and try it again. I may pull the fuses but can't always find those "closed roads" lol

If you have a good relationship with your service advisor tell him EXACTLY what happen speed and all. They can't properly diagnose the issue otherwise. If you don't have a good relationship, call me I will pair you with a dealer who can and will address it.

Mr. Bubble has had issues with GM vehicles at track speeds that my shop did not have the training, experience or tools to fix and I have instructed him to NEVER leave out details. Period. Without them you can't properly duplicate OR fix the issue.

                  Example:
The TBSS pass side door separates from the body and daylight can be seen at 120+ mph.

                  Or

On the Z06 after aggressive track shifting and 100+ mph speeds the trans will not downshift into second, or it grinds.

The right dealer will seek out your issue and fix it, but you must be honest and have a good open & honest relationship with them otherwise it will result in them chasing their tail and you leaving with your car not fixed and you frustrated.
Racing is my life, everything else is just minor details.

"Many things in life will catch your eye, these are mods...... purchase at will."
                  THANKS! KidKilowatt!
