      i do believe then you would have to change the shift/shaft to fit the knob? correct? and if that is the case i dont think anyone wants to pay the r and r trans and replacement costs of changing the shift shaft for a knob?

      if someone wants to do the research and find out if it is a direct replacement and can confirm it i will look into it....

      and on top of that if you went with the alcantara shift knob it would not match the rest of your interior... and they only come with red stitching.

            Haven't been able to get parts diagram for ZL1, but auto shifters are same from V6 to SS.

              I am not about to order an automatic knob without someone confirming for sure that it works and/or they want to pay for it... i lost my rear on the last non-fitting zl1 part.... no offense.

                    and on a side note... my 1/4 mile time went down .2 seconds... could be a better track prep or just luck... but all i changed was the shifter and the trans mount.

                              Sorry... went right over this one..

                              I like the Hurst better than my OEM.. I also like the action on the Barton (didn't like the non-OEM ball though). I've not tried any others in this car.

                                Don't suppose I can retain my boot and knob? I have the IOM interior w/ matching threads.. also don't want any ZL1 logos.
