  • Do you notice any difference with toe rods and trailing arms

I am getting some BMR toe rods and trailing arms installed this weekend, and I am wondering if anyone has noticed much difference in daily driving. I got them to help with wheel hop when racing.

Dont notice any difference in daily driving.... The car is still a wheelhop machine on the street with drag radials.... M6 car and 600 rwhp....

Wheel hop is a tricky problem, the rear control arms haven't reduced it?

in my case, subframe bushings would be next... I just dont want the NVH to increase so I may wait on those a bit.... I have done everything else... trailing, toe, diff bushings, balance bar....

Are you guys getting wheelhop constantly, in daily driving? Are you stock power-wise?

One reason aftermarket LCA's helped on my old 4th gens was that the stiffer bushing didn't flex as much, so when the power was hitting the tires, the suspension wouldn't move around as much.

My old 2002 Z06 it was either spin, roll out, or try to dump it and get wheel hop.

I actually havent run into much wheel hop yet. I am not sure my power numbers, but mods are CAI, arh headers, 3600 tc. I just want to avoid wheelhop, and get a consistent 60'

I have less rear tire spin in mine since installing. The rear end seems more planted. Never had wheel hop, however mine is automatic with 3200 stall and have not been to track yet.

I'm getting the works done this week on my suspension. Going with Pfadt solid subframe bushings, and the arm kit, and coilovers. I'll let you know how much the noise level goes up with the subframe bushings. From what I've read so far it's not bad until you do the differential bushings.

BMR posted a pretty cool video on Camaro5 recently about wheel hop. Vast improvement with the components above minus the coilovers.

I did the differential bushings and it is definatly louder and you feel more of the gears moving together. Have not done subframe yet.

Autos don't typically wheel hop that much, but M6 cars can be pretty bad.
