  • twin turbo camaro at the track!

so for those that haven't seen, i finally was able to make it to the track on wednesday.

it was extremely cold and my drag radials didn't make it on on time so i was stuck running with my stock 20in tires. They really couldn't handle the boost.

almost every pass i was really struggling in the top of all gears especially 1st and 2nd. There was a couple times where it turned into some violent wheel hop, but luckily she made it out ok. Well here is a video of the majority of my passes. enjoy!

yup, of course. I had the stock street tires on it this time.

I ordered c6 zo6 rims and radials but the radials didn't make it on time.

Thanks for that, hitting 120 was my goal with the stock tires. I really am shooting to hit 125 with my radials and new wheels. Then 130 by the end of the season.

                It just never ends

With that kind of trap speed you'll be in the low 11s if you can get the traction working. With that kind of HP I would suggest replacing all the rear links (start with tailing and toe), link bushings and subframe bushings, plus a very stiff set of sway bars. I'm 1/2 through these mods on my car, using BMR parts, though Pedders, Pfadt, Spohn et. al. appear to rock, BMR is really cost effective. You can save a ton if you do the work yourself.

I'd forget the huge rear axles since you can replace a stock axle for around $250 if you do the work yourself. Think of the axles as a fuse protecting the diff, drive shaft and transmission.
Black 2010 1SS M6, cam, headers, 3" exhaust, cai, tune, 3.91 JRE posi, MGW shifter, line lock, MT P305 R20 drag radials, BMR suspension. Built by Kevin Paddock www.libertyvillechevrolet.com/high-performace.htm I race with www.Midwestracing.net

i like the way you think - but i will be doing all the work myself. and i have been doing a tone of research and have been trying to decide what setup to go with. i have heard a lot of good things about pedders but i have been seeing more BMR out there. i would say i was still between BMR and pedders.
