Just a little more RPM's at launch. I cut a best 60' of 1.89 on Sunday. I wouldn't mind running Byron but the car won't be the same for long.
    NAWS!!! hehe

I have an auto LLT with all-seasons. I also noticed the right lane going downhill as the day went on.

I ran all stock at GLD last night, I went 1.95 to 2.07, have to walk it out on street tires.... 13.15@106... air was awesome.

Nice times. I really need a clone of me so I can send the clone to other obligations.

Makes me believe a 12.9 is possible for me on the right day.

What PSI did you have the tires set to?

I picked up almost 4mph in the 1/8 from last time at the track, just from the cam swap! That track SUCKs guys sorry, been racing for 15 years and its the worst track I have ever ran on. Been all over the midwest and its definetly just not up to par with the rest of them. I am sure the extra power is making it a little harder and I need to get used to it, but I had to baby it so much there was no way I was getting a good run in! An auto on tires, or a stock car I can see being ok on that track, but not what I am dealing with.

There was not enough slick cars laying down rubber and they didnt spray very much if at all VHT down. On a good track 2.0s are easy, I shouldnt have to baby launch at 2500 and ride the hell out of the clutch like that. I will be going to bryon or 41 next time, next year will put tires on my car and get the most out of it.

Just like last year with the headers, I went to rt66, byron, us41, and GLD twice! GLD was the only track I could not run 12s or launch it over 3k.... I was running 2.0 60s on every track and 12.6-12.8s every time except GLD. I did run a couple 2.0 60s at GLD last year but still didnt break 12s because I had to lauch at such a low rpm my 1/8th mile was to slow. Me and that track just dont get along, having the same issues I had at that place last year gets pretty old.

Me an buddy are putting together his olds and going to hit byron mid May or so, get some better passes in.
            12.39 @ 115.6 Da corrected 12.13 @ 118, on stock tires!

Maybe its just the days you go? I haven't ran there before but I do know they host a lot of events with cars in the single digits. I can't imagine track prep being bad all the time there.

Let me know when, I want to hit up Byron. Also I tried to come by and say hi but you were in the bathroom. I was too busy jumping around like a little school girl to come back.

Ya no problem man, looks you had some good runs in! BTY tell your buddy to lay off me before he pisses me off, he's trying to bash me at LS1 tech and saying I am making excuses. Like he's some big time racer, the guy couldnt even even run his own camaro and make a good pass in it and he's gonna crap talk me!

I had the stock Pirellis on my last three runs at 28 psi.

I would disagree about the comments about GLD, I run just as good there as I have at Byron and NLR and many other tracks. Some weeknights the track is not great, but no track sprays and drags the tracks for Tuesdays and Wednesday night test and tunes.

There were 7 cars at GLD last night, and I went a 1.95 on stock tires. I had some buddies there with a quicker car and they still did pretty good on the short time though they were fighting other problems.

Have to remember, these cars have tight suspensions stock and we have very little weight transfer. To make a stick car work you have to find that balance that works.

I've gone 1.35 at GLD on DR's and slicks, just like I have at NLR.

Thats damn good, I dont know what to tell you. Like I said, I always have issues there... I am gonna put the P zeros back on though, mabye my all seasons are just not bitting like they did last year. I really dont think its a power issue even though I am shure my driving needs some work with the new setup.

Yeah, I was extremely impressed with the runs I had on Sunday!!

I can't tell him anything. He wouldn't listen to me anyways. In his defense I did break his Camaro before he could drive it.

But you did blame it all on the track. You need a tire and it will run the numbers you expect.

What I am saying is that I have never made a good pass at that track, if the track is great explain how my car was a hole 4 tenths faster everywere else last year in simular weather as well. Because every were else I had much better traction, you don't have to agree, but it's what I have delt with. I am happy with the 12.7 passes because it's still 4 tenths faster then I ran last year at that track, even with a 2.3 60ft I ran 12.90, so that shows how much stronger it is. So in the end I am happy with my cam, the car seems to have gained allot.
