            Search was quick and easy........

Besides.. I'm bored at work and this VIP Ticket doesn't deserve my attention at the moment due to the VIP being a VAP.

Yep, great and bad news! Once again me and GLD hated each other! I don't care what anyone says, that track is terrible! Every were else I went last year I cut 1.9-2.0 60s and 12.6-12.7 et's. Last year at GLD I could never run faster then 13.0-1 with 2.1-2 60s!

Well it was the same story again, 2.16 best with a 2.2 avg. 60 babying it out of the hole with no traction and no rpm. But the GREAT news... I pulled 3 12.7s with 2.2 60s... A hole 3 tenths slower in the 1/8th mile Then my best runs from before, but the car was up almost 4mph in the 1/8th then last year at this track and pulled 114mph from 111 last year. So taken my 12.72 run with a terrible 60 and 1/8th mile et this car is gonna hall azz when I get on a sticky track without a big head wind! My mph is up everywhere, I know once I get that 1.9 again I could be looking at 12.2 on street tires! I am very happy with the car, none of the Bolton cars stood a chance going down the track... I was walking everyone pretty easy, I treed T bone hard and my car kept pulling away, so I know my power is there! Next step is hit Byron and hope for good conditions and smoke my 12.6s from last year!

Did you have the cam when you cut 1.9s?

No, these were my first runs with the cam. But I can tell you its not the power keeping me from a 1.9! I notice some guys thought the track was good, really not sure if they ever been on a good prepped track. US41 on some nights and byron have some killer track prep man, even on street tires it feels like your on glue, 2.0 60s are no problem. If I launched the car as easy as I was this weekend on a well prepped track I would have bogged and almost died out every run.

FWIW, I had a few 2.0x 60's across both lanes. Maybe others can chime in with their numbers.

Congrats man, I have no idea how you did it! You an auto or manual? I do plan on putting my pirelli's back on, I was running my all seasons. But still my all seasons were pulling 1.9s last year. The left lane was the only one I could even use, the right lane I could not get get any traction.

So you picked up 4 mph from cam and headers? Sounds good.

I have cut 1.9's at GLD and set a PB with my 5th gen. At byron I did get slightly better 60' and ET but no by much. Byron did feel more consistent. Now that I have an auto, Mickey's and 600lbs less weight I have a different opinion. The track seemed great and I set a new PB by 3/10's with out any changes to the car. Just a little more RPM's at launch. I cut a best 60' of 1.89 on Sunday. I wouldn't mind running Byron but the car won't be the same for long.
