  • New eye candy...

Installed my SLP Boost gauge finally... Installed in a Fesler single pod A pillar mount. I really wanted something that matched the factory speedo/tach and I think the SLP gauge comes pretty close. Mostly just for looks, as I cant see monitoring this thing at the top of second gear!! Pics a bit blurry...

As a side note, during the install I found my Boost a pump wires to be cooked. They must of somehow cooked on the back of the heads or even a header pipe... Glad I found this. Would end up either boosting my fuel pump 100% constantly or not boosting it at all!! Not good in either case!!

Nice! Does that do anything to the airbags? There are airbags there right? lol I'm questioning myself.

Looks really good. I epically like how it matches the main gauges.

This does not affect function of the airbag at all. The pliiar pod is attached with a breakaway clip at the top. If the airbag did deploy the pod and gauge would be driven to the right and down....

I havent driven the car yet wih the new gauge. Sitting inside the car, it does stick out a bit into your line of sight. I think a single gauge like this would be easy to live with, but a dual gauge setup could get annoying..

It looks nice, but what does it measure or do?

A boost gauge measures manifold pressure.... Something nice to look at on a supercharged application...
