Looking at a Borla Atak cat back system for my 2011 SS/RS convertible with 6 speed manual. Does anyone have any experience with this system (good or bad) that you can share? Also any recommendations on who offers best parts price (i looked at Summit and Borla site so far). the reason for my question is that the guy at exhaust works said he has done a very of these and people have complained around rattling sound in mufflers. Appreciate any input. Thx.

If MArylandSpeed carries them then call Brandon. Check his website but call for his best deals.
T.The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

I have the Atak Cat Back system on my SS and I love it. I do have the dreaded drone but it's really not that bad. I do have headers in my garage right now waiting to go on the car and a tuner. This will take care of the drone and add some more sweet sound and HP.
Check out apex-speed.com. They had the best price at the time when I purchased. Go to Camaro 5 and look up Chase @ Apex, he'll answer any questions you have.
The thing I love about the ATAK is when you nail it, it sounds like a race car. I grin everytime!

I have the Borla touring exhaust. It's quite enough to still hear the person I am talking to but when I hit it. It sounds real pissed off. No noises or rattles in my exhaust.G-MANComment
