    Jcobra,

Nice run. Contrary to what the "Keyboard Commando" says I don't have a problem with associates on the Fast list. But membership does have it's privileges and other members have spoken. At least you drove it yourself.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

I have not participated in racing to this point. I also do not want any one offended.
However I would think this would be a Camaro club fast list for Camaro club members driving their cars.

Keyboard commando, are you serious? That's the flippin pot calling the kettle black.

Let me clear this up for you one last time....the car broke on Dan's last pass. I never got to drive it, then it blew up.

At least I modded the car myself, as well as swapped out the blown motor. Maybe there should be a separate list for those who "buy" their ETs. What's the difference between having someone else drive the car or having someone else mod it for you?

Help me out here, can't wait for your answer to this one.

Garret, no offense taken....but do understand by your logic, professional racing records wouldn't be kept as none of the drivers own their cars.

Fast list are a measure of how the car performs....as well as driver skill. Keep in mind with an automatic, it's pretty much stab and steer. Manual cars take a little more skill.

Last but not least, Dan has the launch nailed, and he's not afraid to powershift the car.....I have a tougher time getting the car out of the hole on the Pirellis and I have zero faith in the trans to do a no lift shift.

This is the ONLY car forum I've ever seen with petty bullshit like this on it....the worst part is there's not even 10 cars on the damn list and you're crying like a little girl about. Focus more on getting people out the track and less on who's driving the car.

Oh, and just so you can say you're the 3rd fastest out of the 8 cars, please take my car off that list....now.

Really this again? Is there a million dollar prize somewhere that I don't know about. How about if you have a time slip you get on the list? That's the only rule needed.

The V6 group may be slower, but a lot can be learned from that fast list and discussion. No bitching, no whining, just slips and congratulations on nice runs.

Way to go! A little more practice and a few mods and you should see 12's no problem.

I did it last year with just a CAI.

So what was the final decision? Don't see my name on fast list so I assume bubbles got her way??

There's how many members of C5G and there's 10 cars on this list.....and there is all this debate? How much of an ego maniac are you to close the list off to certain rules?

If you're sign up on the forum, own a 5th gen and have a time slip, that's all you should need. Works for all the big boy car forums.

The way it's being handled and what's being debated is embarrassing.

This is the C5G fast list, not the "Chicagoland 5th gen owners" fast list. I think it's a tool for members to compare mods and cars. Camaro5 has an extensive list open to everyone because it's a national site.
