i took out to get exhaust done and stored again...

and noticed some oil on floor.
so i put a large piece of cardboard under car and noticed 1 drop every 2-3 days.. kept on switching position on cardboard!! and determined it..

I had an oil leak at the seal of the cooler. Took it to Bill Jacobs in Plainfield and they replaced it under warranty no problem at all. Great (car) guys and took very good card of me. I have headers and many other mods and they understood the "rules" of what is covered. Ask for Rudy, he was great and followed through on everything he said.

I have same oil leak. They replaced oil cooler. Oil leak is still there. I will be going back for rediagnosis. I think its the rear main seal.

If I recall, there was a TSB about greater than normal porosity in the block in some cases, which can cause a seep at the rear main seal. If so diagnosed, they'll seal the block with some type of sealant that will solve the issue.

turned out to be nothing of the above mention.. to tell you the truth the dealer could not find source, so they have added a dye to the oil and want me to drive it around for around 1000 miles.. so see where like is coming from .. the dye will turn purple under black light!
but WTF i hardly drive my car as it is, but dealer had it for 2 day and they did see 1 drop but not where its coming from.. they took pictures also..
they checked all previous problems areas from other camaros and nothing! those areas are either tight or dry no oil around.... uggggh really piss me off,
dealer knows how i really dont drive it but said its needed to determine the source!!

they gave me a coupon for free 6 months on xm radio and nav ( i canceled mine) so i can enjoy tunes while im driving around! jajaja at least they were funny in this aspect..

just giving an update.. hope its not something worse..
they suspect it can also be some sort of hairline crack somewhere that is why dye is needed..!
