i heard larry from speed inc is gone or leaving? any truth to this? anyone know... i heard he was going abroad to AMS...
so know who will do lsx engine for speed inc??

all i know is there is 3 shops that are reall good with lsx engines.

I just looked up AMS... not one domestic featured... But they do both German and Japanese. I wonder why they chose not to tune domestics?

but then again.... Maybe thats why they hired Larry.... dun dun dun.

AMS is a real big name in the tuner world and from what I have read they want to get more into the domestics. Read about half way down they talk about hiring Larry

Yes we did hear that Larry left Speed Inc. You look at any company or organization .... everyone eventually moves on. Either through retirement or another opportunity. Pete (Showstopper) had a phone call with the owner of Speed and wanted to assure us that they will continue to support us. Life goes on. While I have not personally met Larry I know that he is a very capable guy. He will be missed. It was nice for the owner of Speed to reach out to us. They are our current sponsor and we see them continuing to support us and our performance needs.

I have not talked to Larry in person yet but he has reached out to the officers in the club via PM. I would like to officially thank Larry for all of his help in getting C5G off the ground in the infancy of this club. He has helped out a lot of members here as well as myself. He will be greatly missed but will still be part of C5G on a personal level.

On the flip side Tom from Speed has also reached out to us and will continue to support us as he has from the beginning. We, as a club, wouldn't be where we are with out Speed Inc. and I look forward to our continued relationship. Speed is still our sponsor and the best LS shop that I know of. The results that members have seen from Speed with their cars tells it all.

As I have expressed to you before Larry and I will say again publicly here...thank you for everything you have helped me with in the past. My car would not be at the stage that it is now if it were not for you and your expert opinions and guidance you have given me. Good luck in your new endeavor sir.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Tom,the owner of Speed Inc.,day before yesterday and he informed me he will be handling Larry's former duties at the shop.
Just in the few minutes I spoke to Tom I went away knowing that Speed still is the place to go for performance work.
Already Tom has gone above and beyond to help make phase two of my build go as smooth as possible in regards to getting my car to him and understanding my extenuating circumstances. That in it self means alot to me.
Even though phase two has not started(car goes to Speed May 7th) I already am looking forward to phase three with Speed Inc. (Just don't tell my wife) lol
