Yes, you saw that and here's the visual proof.

This is my mileage showing on 94 north of the 94/90 split coming back from Milwaukee. I had the cruise set to the speed limit in each area. Windows down with moderate winds.

Not bad for a supercharged large V8 pulling a 4000 lb tank..

Well, in the city when I'm getting on it, I know I get down to 12-13 or even 9-11 MPG.

I didn't go fill it back up to measure the difference, but I've seen others do that and even after a tune, etc. it's still fairly accurate. This was my first actual road trip (kinda0 with the car that I was on the highway long enough to get a decent reading.

It was only at ~27MPG at 65MPH. Once I dropped down to 55 coming in to Illinois, it slowly went up to 30.1MPG.

Ok, so we eventually do the speed limit. I guess your right, its how fast we get there, pass it up and then go back down to it that could cause a problem.

I would think this is very accurate. There is another member on the forums here that had the same gas mileage when cruising down to georgia last year for the camaro5fest. I would think that the tune for the supercharger has nothing to do with the calculations for the gas mileage.

It would depend on how the calculations are done in the BCM. and what all is adjusted in the tune. The tune that was on my Grand Prix (pre Camaro) had changed the IPW and that messed with my MPG calculations by the DIC, put it 2 MPG more than it actually was

Should do a manual calculation comparison for a tank or two to check it out.

55 is the sweet spot. My brother doesn't get that in his Scion TC.

It bears mentioning that that stretch of tollway is an overall negative grade. From 120 down to Ohare, after filling up and resetting 5 miles before getting on 94, I routinely get 29-30. (In my LT, I once got 36.5) But, by the time I get home, I am down to about 26. Up until this past week when it was cold, I was averaging 25-26. The cold brought me about 24. Summer tires get hard under 50 degrees.
