I would highly recommend libertyville Chevrolet for any warranty work you might need.
Those of you that have seen my car know it has a few mods. Nothing had been done internal engine wise but it had been tuned, cai, long tube headers exhaust, high flow converters and different plug wires.
I have had an oil leak on my car since I got it. I had dye put in it last fall at another dealer and now finally had it checked by Kevin at Libertville Chevrolet. The oil leak turned out to be the oil cooler which they replaced under warranty. I also had a lifter noise after the car sat for a long time. I had it checked at another dealer and they said it was fine and knew nothing about what I was talking about. Yet i still had the noise. There is quite a bit posted around the forums about this.
When I talked to Eric the service person at Libertyville Chevrolet he was well versed on it and knew exactly what needed to be done. They replaced the lifters under warranty with LS3 lifters. While they were there I also had them do a L99 to LS3 conversion eliminating the active fuel management all together.
In addition I also had them put in a new cam. I really had not planned on the cam but It saved me quite a bit in labor cost to do it since they were doing warranty work in that area already. The car came back to me with everything perfect and clean like they never touched it. My engine was spotless when i brought it in and Kevin took the time and care to keep it that way. I have only had the chance to drive it for a short time last Saturday, since I had to go out of town again. However so far really really happy with results. After Larry at speed incs tune before cam to speed incs tune after cam besides sounding great it Went from 366 to 424 rwhp and from 373 to 462 rwtq not to shabby for an automatic.
