  • Header Install

So I got one hell of a deal for some Kooks headers and ordered them on Tuesday. They should be delivered Tomorrow, WOOO HOOOO!!!! So tonight I am putting mine up on jack stands and tearing out the stock headers in anticipation of the new ones coming tomorrow. Hopefully I will finish in time for D&B on Sunday.

The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.

Spark plug wires and plugs are out. Loosen bolts and up on jacks after dinner.

          We......have.....HEADERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I actually finished up last night but yesterday afternoon my Uncle called while headed into town to inform me he was playing the Double Door with his new band The Gracious Few. So I finished at 8 last night, fired the car to make sure I did it correctly, which I did of course, and then ate, showered and rushed downtown to catch his show. It fuckin' rocked too. And in typical Rock N Roll fashion they had to cut the set one song short because one of the guitarist fell off the stage and broke his leg. They had to call an ambulance and everything, what a laugh. To give you some background on TGF they are comprised of the lead singer, my Uncle, and guitarist of Candlebox and Guitarist, Bassist and Drummer of Live. Check them out at TheGraciousFew.com.

Anyway, I HAVE HEADERS and they sound AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! Hopefully tomorrow is nice and I will bring her and my better half up to the D&B cruise.
