  • Throttle Response

Ok, are there any TSB's on this? So tired of hitting the gas and the damn thing bogging. For me, it's mostly left turns that I see it on.

I thought that my new intake would help, but, it did not change anything related to this.

Did you get a tune after new intake?

sent from my galaxy s3. that would explain the errors.

No tune needed for just an intake.

Didn't I hear about a trans update, too, for the occasional shifting strangeness?

FWIW, I'm not putting much faith into Vince these days.

I don't hardly notice this happening on mine, anymore. maybe is due to the ported TB.

I'll most likely be going with IPF for a tune this winter. I'll let you know how it goes.

The TCM/ECM doesn't do jack for it really... Just ask any new body style SRX.

The throttle delay is programmed in there to prevent drivetrain damage and allow for a 5yr 100k warranty. All gm cars have it, some models worse than others. There will never be a "fix". Only way would be a warranty voiding tune.

                            Even considering PI0090E?

This is not all of the time.

That bulletin is definitely something to check but probabaly rare. I have checked a few 3.6 v6's with no luck so far. I would imagine over time more issues would come about if that was the problem. If a terminal is backed out or loose it doesnt tighten/reseat, it would get looser from engine vibrations. Not saying it isn't it but don't get your hopes up. My suggestion would be to make a complaint under warranty and get it checked out. I'd check the connectors, any codes, and check if any reflashes.
