  • My first Mod

Was checking online for mods, decided to send a couple questions to Vararam via email. Steve the sales guy there wrote back and asked me to call him. After talking a bit with the guy, he answered all my questions, and offered to take my order via phone - I'm getting the V-6 Ram Air Vararam with the green filter to match my amazing car, he's giving me the cleaner kit, and free shipping. Not to mention on the web it's 349.99, he only charged me $319.00 flat. Pretty freaking awesome. Amazing customer service. Now as long as the product is amazing, which I've only heard good things, I'd recommend them anytime. They're getting hit by spring mod rush, so they're about 12 days out on shipping stuff out. No biggie to me. Just gives me more time to find more mods. ¬_¬. Oh yeah.. shhhhhh..... don't tell my fiancee...

      Vararam FTW.

Although, I think Priz had the CAI...

Track results have shown they both work well. You should be happy with either.

I'd like to see someone else with a CAI to compare to Priz's experience.

A down-side to the Vararam is the big hole left by the stock airbox. LOL

Hrmm.. What about creating a small fridge, tap into the A/C line to keep things chill, drop a 6 pack in there, and chilled beers on the go. THAT is an idea worth pursuing.

It's all personal preference. I decided to go with a SLP CAI when it was all said and done, and I really like it. Plus this big question that you have ask is what do you want to spend.

I was stuck between the vararam and the CAI myself. But being a 2012 ss vararam does not have a model that will fit. Something about the radiator cap moving. So I went CAI.

I too was questioning what to do with the gap if I went Vararam. I messed showstopper and he said he would try and come up with something if I bought it. Hope thats ok for me to let out pete.

If you do go vararam maybe contact him and see what he was thinking?
