  • Muffler Delete?

Hey guys I've bought my 2012 Camaro some time ago and I wanted to make it a bit louder and I'm considering cutting out the mufflers and putting a 2 1/2 pipe in. I was wondering what you guys think and know about it. Thanks

You have to ask yourself , is it a daily driver, do you want it loud ALL the time. There are a ton of different exhausts for these cars that are louder then the factory. Come to a club meet and you can hear five or six different ones before you decide. It's nice to actually hear all the different ones before you purchase

Are there any other 6's with straight pipes in the club? I am sure it's louder, but it might be a bit whiny. Check out camaro5, they have tons of exhaust clips. Slap on some high flow cats if you want some more noise too, or headers.

Oh. If it's a six, it will likely be raspy as hell.

Do you like them? How much did you pay? Are they annoying on the highway? Perhaps you have a vid?

I love them, I bought the SLP loudmouth 1 so around 500. I have no drone at all but I have all custom piping so it will sound much different than just straight pipes.

I would do the Loudmouth 2 with bbk x pipes.

If you can hold off until the hooters cruise, you will hear a bunch of different exhausts then ! those cruises are usually well attended.
