  • The speedlimiter?

Is there any way to remove the speed limiter that turns on when you're going 118?

A tune will, but need to make sure you have proper tires for over 118, etc

You can flash back to stock at any time if you have the cable.

I used to have a diablo handheld tuner when i had a charger and it would save the stock tune when you installed a custom tune and was easy to return to the stock tune. But I've heard that GM can still see that a custom tune was installed even if the tune is returned to stock.

I have heard that the LLT does not. No idea yet on the LFX.

The V8 has a flash counter. The V6 apparently does not. The only viable way to tune the V6 is through Trifecta. Don't waste your money on anything else, if you have a V6. If you remove your speed limiter, i'd advise your tires to be rated for higher speed.
Edit: LLT and LFX can be tuned.

the 2012 LFX doesn't use the same PCM, and is more easily tuneable... HP Tuners is working on it, as are some other companies.
