But with a supercharger your only building boost under harder accelleration thus more gas , which means less gas mileage . Thought about that when i installed a vortex vr2 on my F150. sure it brought up hp numbers and it definitly hauled ass but sucked up the go juice more because you find yourself driving more aggressively. i don't know anyone that puts on turbos or superchargers just to drive around normal. why waste the money right? you install them for driving harder
Man that really sucks...........but that's the coolest thing I've ever seen

Correct, and if I'm not mistaken, the V6 is lighter than the V8. Less torque on the low end and less weight to push. I don't foresee getting one until the summer, if I do.

I tend to agree with this position, that was my thought as well. but it is an interesting debate, Horsepower vs gas mileage , such a problem to have with an awesome car in the first place, lol

If you worry about gas mileage get a Prius.

Backed out on my order with IPF today. I want to see which of the two supercharged kits is going to be performing the best.

Wish my bolt on plus ss would run sub 12.5.

Had you installed the torque converter to match your cam shaft....you would be running the numbers.

( And once the converter goes in, you're going to need a set of drag radials )

I bought it new and decided not to install it after driving the car with the Lingenfelter 650 HP Supercharged package. Thanks for the heads up. The stall might be delayed a bit, I invested in a hemi last night.
