The drag strip is like sniffing glue, it's cheap, it's a decent buzz, it doesn't last long and they are all the same.
Road racing is like China White Heroin, the buzz is stronger, the high lasts for hours, it's extremely addictive and they are all different.
I can't wait for my Track next fix.
... For the V8... For the 6, it's Injen, AIRAID, or Rotofab at the top, though initial reaction to the new Vararam intake is very promising as well. The K&N for V6 doesnt have much gains. I have the AIRAID and love it
k&n was dyno tested at 14.5 hp gain and thats what i got for my v6
2010 VICTORY RED LS k&n cai, borla catback exhaust, pedastal spoiler trifecta tune, doug thorley headers, v-max black ice-olator,hid headlights and fogs plus all the other crap
k&n was dyno tested at 14.5 hp gain and thats what i got for my v6
I was remembering the V8 results on the K&N. The V6 kit is decent. The fuel trims seemed to be higher than stock by quite a bit in the Janetty testing, but not sure how much that's noticeable. The AIRAID is similar in HP, but gains a bit more torque on average, but gains more torque on the low end. There really isn't a 'bad' intake to be found, really.... though some on E-bay maybe, LOL
just FYI, for more info on the Janetty dyno testing if anybody is interested-
