  • V6 Tuning!!!

Just to let you guys know, Vince at Trifecta contacted me this morning and we are getting a trial suite tonight or tomorrow to look and see if it's something we are going to pursue! We more or less want to be sure we will have enough control and resolution over the car before we drop the coin on something that will not allow us to safely calibrate all the combinations you guys might throw at us.

As we told some of you Saturday, we like cars that run just as well at part throttle as they do wide open. A good calibration should not be a compromise, and we want to make sure the Trifecta software allows us to deliver what we know we can with other systems on other cars.

    I'll keep you updated

    Thanks
    Eugene

There are lots of V6 owners begging for a shop that can tune their modded LLTs. If you guys can work this out with Vince, I would think that you would see people travel great distances to get their cars tuned at your shop.

The orginal post was that Benchmark was looking into purchasing a trial suite of Trifectia's software. If Benchmark would of purchased it, Mike would of been able to do live dyno tuning of our LLTs with Trifecta's software suite. The problem was that it was $2500. Benchmark already has a full suite of tuning software that can tune most any car. Paying $2500 was cost prohibitive to tune how many LLTs a year??

The good news though is that Mike has no problem working to do mail order tunes with Vince while our cars are on the dyno. My car is at Benchmark right now, and it will get an updated Trifecta tune with Mike doing the logging and Vince doing the tuning.
