My CAI from CAI arrived today. Just wrapped up installing and taking it out for a test drive. Other than changing a light bulb or oil, this was by far the most significant mod I have ever done on my own to a car. To my surprise the following occurred when I installed it: 1)The old CAI came out effortlessly, 2)The new CAI went in very easily, 3)The car actually turned on after I installed the new CAI, and 4) I didn't get any CELs after the install.
The CAI looks awesome, and it sounded even better. The car is definitely louder when you floor it, and seems a little deeper in tone. When not under heavy acceleration I didn't notice any difference from stock. Hopefully I can get to the track sometime next week to see if it gives some real results.
