*precision 6262 CEA Dual Ball Bearing turbos
*Weisco Forged Pistons: 4.07 bore -11cc dish
        *callie compstar I beam rods
        *coated rod and main bearings
*ARP head studs and ARP Bolts all around
        *Stock crank
        *stock heads
*upgraded valvetrain including springs, retainers, pushrods, rockers, etc...
*stock intake manifold (thinking about have a custom one designed for my setup)
*mild boost cam - maybe a GTX9 but that im sure will change 100 times by the time i purchase one
        *ID1000 Injectors
*squash returnless dual 400lph fuel system
        *some new shiny fuel rails
*Meth injection with dual 450cc nozzles
*im sure more will come up as i go through her too.

the goal is to produce about 800-850whp around 15psi of boost.... and 950whp @ 20psi.

i will be tuning it for both E85 and Regular 93.

ETA im guessing around 10-11 months for the build.... unless of course someone is willing to sponsor the build. All offers will be considered. ;-)
man I just saw this on Camaro5! sorry to hear about your loss bud! I wish I would of known and I would of loved to wrench with Ya! I have a plate that looks like this....

makes for an easier install, your more than welcome to borrow it just let me know and Ill take it up to you. Do you need anything? I'll PM you my number incase you need anything andI mean anything just let me know, you don't live far at all.

You have a nice list BUT im gonna say this, you NEED an intercooler bud, that's ALOT of hot air by twins to just use Meth, IMHO you need to keep those very good quality turbos efficient with a quality IC and make more power than with meth alone. Don't you think so? Tell me what ya think.

I might go this route too. Turbo Joe has me "really considering" a Precision 92 or 98?mm turbo for mine LOL Ugh it never ends lol

It never does end haha, and i totally can see how that plate would have worked very nicely. When I am ready to put her back in i will let you know.

The intercooler debate is on going... The thing about my setup being rear mounted twins... I have to do everything i can to maximize the air flow and reduce spool. We are concerned that if i put a front mount on her, that spool will really suck. I was able to keep my IAT under 130 degrees while tracking her with one nozzle of meth, so i am thinking that i will upgrade to a second nozzle and see what type of cooling i have then. My fabricator and i both agreed that if a front mount was going on, then we would just switch to a twin under hood setup... which means even more down time. But it is something we are going to look at if i can't keep IAT's down, then it will be required.

But i am chipping away at her slowly but surely. This weekend we will be taking the exhaust down and the turbos off to see how bad the damageg is to those. Then i might start my wire tuck and clean up too. But we will see how the turbo removal goes. You are more then welcome to stop by anytime.

          • Why would you be trying to reduce spool when you have all that piping to go back to the intake?
If you installed them in front why would spool suck?

Why not just save the money and buy just one 76 (just thinking out loud) with a nice IC and Lq9 manifolds and take the tubing from your rear mount? (again just thinking out loud lol)

With turbos we know efficiency and controlled "HEAT" is the name of the game.
how are you oiling your system now?

Text me when your schedule on when your gonna start some wrenching and if you need any tools in particular, I might have it.

My plan was to keep my rear mounted twin setup. Its different and I like the looked people give me when I tell em where they are at. But by adding an intercooler up front would mean changing about 30% of my charge pipe and adding the intercooler. By adding tough bends and a big intercooler it would increase my lag. That's why we don't have one and we run the Meth for cooling.

What I meant was because of all the work involved with creating a front Lounger intercooler... it would almost be easier to just redo a whole Turbo kit. Lol

I am currently using a turbowerx oil pump that pumps the oil to the pan. And use stock pump for feeding the turbos. Honestly it took more time to master that part then it did making the charge pipe.

And you think my sig is bad, wait until you see her in person haha. Ill keep you posted.

There are a couple scratches in cylinder 7 but nothing a little boreing wont handle.

                      • Lol at least you were lucky! I pulled a stupid rookie move yesterday and after I text you I decided to bleed my clutch fluid, I have a tick remote bleeder and my 10yr old daughter started pumping I opened the bleeder valve at the same time my 11yr old asked me about how the turbo set up would be, well my dumb azz got geeked up too and let the fluid run dry in the reservoir!!! Grrrrr had to wait til my buddy came today with the mytivac. We good now. Sorry I couldn't come over Jeremy! I was pissed yesterday cause I had no clutch pedal pressure lol.

                        • Time to get forged pistons and rods. Take it to AES or PER and you won't regret it.

                            • A drive is worth it if the quality is there.

But honestly I am probably going to have Opel out of streamwood machine the block, and then I am gonna assemble myself.

Its the only way I can afford to do it.

just saw this, and its not a problem at all. Glad to hear you got it addressed.

Something similiar happened to me right before I went to the track once. We started bleeding it with the remote bleeder... and no clutch pedal... very sad and angry feeling lol
