very nice. I had my days in sound system competitions. My best system was a 15 inch Massive Audio DMX stage 2 with two 12 inch alpine type R's for daily use, all with alpine door speakers and tweets. I had it in my 1984 buick electra park avenue. always wish i coulda bought an SUV at the time. Everything gets amplified that way. this is the first car actually that i didnt put an upgraded system in now that i think of it lol.

What's next ? Front passenger seat has to go, order that Z 28 thinner rear window, change the side windows to lexan, get those Z28 lighter rims, no one will be able to touch your stats, lol

You got some good ideas there haha.

i will be attempting to install my new fuel pump tomorrow. So this was preparation for that. Going to make an access door, so that way if i need to ever do it again in the future, it will be very easy.

Cutting up your car is always nerve racking. My co-worker thought the same thing, so I cut the fuel pump access door in his 95 Z28 for him. Didn't bother me one bit. LOL

Good luck, watch out for sparks!

Never understood why GM makes replacing a fuel pump such a PITA!

Yeah, it wasn't the funnest thing to do.

Took me about 20 min to cut the opening. Which by the way is very sketchy, seeing all those sparks knowing there is a gas tank right under you.

The hardest part was getting the seal ring to turn back on. Ended up taking 2 people hitting it at the same time.

But the zl1 pump and ADM FPCM are back in. Now just have to get it refined accordingly.

Yeah, I dislike those lock rings. Liked the snap ring style better... and the Regal we used to have had an access door from the factory!
