    • wow, make sure you check the grade of stainless too, i like the idea but am always concerned about wear on two different types of metals and the costs and down time to replace the part that wears faster. sounds like your putting togethor a nice setup. good luck ! we need more guys like you in the club who have a big checkbook and willing to spend it on their car, hehe

          stainless is much more durable and resistant to corrosion. This is a very common mod for boosted applications. I am only using the best quality manufactures and ones with best reputations. Not cutting any corners here.

          on a side not, i do not have a big checkbook by any means. Just a lot of sacrifice and hard work. But i do like to spend it on my car haha.

                      Way way too big. Go with either twin 58's or 62's.

                      Or keep it simple and do a single.

                      I'd be down to help. I was talking with my partners at demon performance and we are thinking of producing a turbo kit for a C6. I'd be down to get you going and help you out.

                      • Ah but I don't think a single is going to go as far as I want it. Planning on joining the 1000HP club, but I have a lot of work to do before the turbos. Enough with me thread jacking!

                          Lol it's not jacking... it's on point.

                          I'll tell you that 9 second jeep srt8 that was at Byron last year runs a single 88mm turbo.... and it weighs 5000lbs... makes about 1200whp on 21psi...

                          The biggest key to building a turbo setup is properly sized turbos... and bigger is not always better.
