  • Custom hoodliner

Hi All - I need your opinion because I think maybe I'm being too picky. I ordered a custom designed hoodliner from Vengeance Graphics. It's a wrap over an ACS hoodliner. The design is just what i wanted, but I'm kind of disappointed in 3 things: 1) The edge is already slightly damaged in a few areas where the edge must have rubbed up against the box. 2) there are a lot of little bubbles that I didn't anticipate in the wrap. 3) I didn't expect to see Vengence Graphix in rather large white letters at the bottom of the image.

    Am I being too picky???
    Thanks,
    Dawn

Well, in my experience if your not happy day one it will grow and grow and grow into hate .. I know that sounds silly but for me it's true. I would contact them about the damage and review the proof for the decal. I wonder what happened to get bubbles? Email them and let us know the outcome... I've been looking at them for myself..

Vengeance Graphix got back to me right away and offered to make everything right. He's extremely responsive. I guess I was worried that I expected too much. The bubbles are really small, but there are a bunch of them. Maybe that is just a function of the wrap. I could actually live with the bubbles. But the brand at the bottom and the damaged edges are things that I think would bother me more over time. Maybe I'll ask him to re-do it, and wrap the think in bubble-wrap within the box.

Send it back and get what ou want . Chalk it up to a lesson learned. Next time get a local guy or gal to paint what ou want. There are plenty of good ones around ! tell them that if ou wanted to sell advertising space on our car ou would have told them so ahead of time.

Thanks - I'm sending it back tomorrow. Asking him to re-do it without the brand, get the little bubbles out, and wrap it in bubble-wrap before putting it in the box

Got the replacement about 10 days ago. Looks great. I'm very pleased with the way it turned out, and I'm pleased with the way he handled my complaints. I would have preferred that a little more care be taken initially, but he took care of everything and paid for my shipping charges. So, it's all good. Now I just need the weather to cooperate and I'll get a friend over to help me put it in.

Boy you guys are harsh! i'm apparently incapable of loading a picture here. But I plan to be at Miller's Ale House on Sunday and will pop the hood. I'll continue to try to figure out what I'm doing wrong from a posting perspective, in order to get a picture loaded.
