Paint is definately the way to go when matching existing paint colors. Pete is right, powdercoating colors are limited.

By the way Pete, the painted pieces you recently did for me has still yet to be installed. The two powdercoated pieces I referred to above is whats holding me up. I can't wait to get it all back together. I will post some pics when it's done.

Mine have been there 7 weeks. I called two weeks ago and was told they would be done the following week(last week)...still not done.

As for colors, I just want victory red and the flat black to match the hood.

Red and black are easy for powder. Victory Red, dunno. Powder is more durable, but, do you really need that on a strut bar? I'd just go with whichever was cheaper.

Tony is right - powder coating would be best for items that are exposed to weather and may take some abuse. For a strut bar and if you want to match VR, I would consider paint.

I picked up my items last night. 11 weeks for me but to be fair, I did tell him I was in no hurry since my car is parked for the winter.

All great advice guys. Sounds like paint is best if I want to match car colors.
