Been going back and forth for 3 plus years on stripes for my car. Hash stripes, hood spears, hockey stripes. Just can't pull the trigger because none of them feel right to me with my car. But...I saw this Mustang with the full length pace car stripes (I think that's what they are called) and I love it. But, not sure how it would look on a Camaro with the raised section of the hood. Even if I do decide to go with the stripes there are factors to consider.
1) I have a sunroof, so that rules out the roof of the car I would think. right?
2) Wide or narrow stripes or tapered stripes? Some stripes are wider and extend out past the raised section of the hood. Some are narrower and stay within that center section.
3) Pinstripe on outer edge, outer and inner edge, or no pinstripe?
4) Leave my Hex Vents Black or paint them the color of the stripes?
BTW, I am leaning towards Charcoal Grey Stripes, like in the last Mustang picture below. Any opinions? Or should I forget the stripes once and for all lol.
My car now.
Cool Pace Car stripes on Mustang. I like this exact style (not color though)
This is the Color I like. Charcoal Grey
wide stripes, extending past center section
or...narrow stripes?
tapered stripes. wider at the top and follows hood lines down as it narrows
