  • Need help, splitter tore off my car!

I was driving back from Wisconsin yesterday, and heard this flapping sound coming from the front and as I was going to pull off the highway, my Stillen street scene front splitter ripped clean off my front bumper and ran right over it into pieces. Now I don't want oen of those again as before it was never a good fit either, but was wanting to get this splitter instead since it seems like a really good fit. http://www.duraflexbodykits.com/2010...-p-262096.html (I have the street scene side skirts and rear corners those are fine).

Does anyone here know were a good body shop or anyone here that does this? I would need to get this painted, but I really want to go somewere that's going to do a good job. (I went to my body shop but the rear corners and side skirts I had to re do myself as their were starting to come off)

I have had that same splitter 3 times twice I bumped and broke it but the third time it happened when my wife was driving on the highway. She said it came off and saw all the pieces in her rear view mirror, just like you.
I would give Pete a call

I smell a National RECALL on that splitter coming, if we only knew a good lawyer to start a class action lawsuit !

From what I have heard duraflex has even bigger fitment issues. I have stillen street scene splitter, installed it myself. Have for almost 2 years and put 30k miles on my daily driver and had 0 problems. The thing is, I secured it with probably 7 additional srews from the bottom, so it's not going anywhere
