  • No more chicken wire

I love Gary's Customz Fenders, but I had 2 people ask me, "Hey is that just chicken wire in there?" That was 2 people too many. So I ordered some ABS Honeycomb plastic from EBAY and with a little advice from Stefano, I decided to do this project myself.

Turned out pretty good I think and it is a HUGE improvement. No more damn chicken wire.

P.S. I am experimenting with the red supercharged emblem on the fenders. Not sure if that's gonna stay or go. I figured it would match the red calipers. What do you guys think. Keep the emblems or ditch them?

Aluminum gutter guards painted flat black could work too. Nice!

For me, I leave the emblems off. I like to surprise them.

I think the emblems look okay but I agree with Tony and don't like to show my cards. If you want to show'em I'd say leave the emblems on.

Yep I thought about that. I wanted to try and get a cohesive look to match the ABS honeycomb design in the Hex Hood Vents. (I wish you could have seen the chicken wire lol. Seriously...why would you put chicken wire in $1400 fender vents?)
I will get a good picture when the car is lowered and cleaned. It looks loads better.

Still going back and forth on the Supercharged emblems.

Yes, it was the chicken wire you buy from Menards for $7. It was painted so I guess that makes it better lol.

That ABS plastic is not cheap. I have enough left over for another set of fenders if anyone needs to also do this, but I am not sure if anyone here has those fenders.

Trade it to Pete for more stuff... he'll likely run into more of them
