  • Rims......I give up!!

I should have left the original rims on my Camaro!! I decided to switch to chrome Foose Legends. Those have issues with the rear so I had them send me two more and those still had issues. I decided to go a completely different route and went with Lexani R12's gloss black with red. Half way thru the process, they had an issue at the plant and my order got put on hold. They just arrived last night but due to the storm, I held off until this morning. I absolutely love them BUT the red is NOT the red I have on my car Red from the 45th Anniversary Edition was specified on the order and they confirmed that they had this color. It does not match at all!! I have no idea what they are going to do at this point as I have to wait till they open. I swear this car is going to be in storage before I get this completed. I could have done so much more if I hadn't gone this route!! I just can't win with this car lately!!

Instead of going the halo route, I just want the brighter fogs. I was going to buy on line but just went to the auto parts store as I am impatient!! My Chevy dealer doesn't have them. They gave me a website. They are $100.00 on there. I think I've seen them cheaper somewhere else. Rims were shipped back today. Crossing my fingers they can fix it or replace them quick!!

You have an RS right?... Then the question is if you have early or late production, which take different part numbers

I think Showstopper would have you covered.

It's an SS/RS mfg date 8/11. I never know if I'm supposed to go by SS or RS so please excuse me being a noob

I'd actually like some side markers too but I only see them in black and I have the carbon flash metallic.

You've got an SS, with the RS package. Us V6 guys can also have the RS package, it's not the model for us either, so you're fine there indicating SS/RS

with that mfg date, you should still be on the early production that has the same DRL bulbs as the 10 and 11 model years, the P13W. TonyNo is right, Showstopper should have them, but if St. Charles is a bit far to go, you should be able to find these online or some auto parts stores....

St. Charles isn't far at all. Gives me an excuse to finally visit an old friend.

What were the issues you had with the chrome foose legends? I am considering the foose legends or the outcasts when I need new rear tires. Planning to go with 315's then.

I'll take some pics tonight and post them. I'm ultra picky when it comes to things. It's something I see that you may not see or agree with. I figure if I'm spending a lot of money on something I barely use, it better be perfect!! But that's just me

Showstoppers is good and I promote them on this site and Camaro 5. Also look at Diode Dynamics for bulbs...search the Camaro 5 for posts and you'll see 'em.
