Ya makes sence...any suggestions as to where the best place to do that? In my other car I have it running all the way to the battery through my firewall and the ground just in the trunk. Does the Camaro have better options? Thanks!

... which unless I'm confused about how you intend to hook it up, is how it should be?
Power from battery to amp, ground to amp, and power from battery to LOC for amp turn on relay, and amp turn on from LOC to amp... is this what you have done and it does not work?
do you have the p/n for the LOC so we can find the instructions? more eyes may help?

ADCT2
2 Channel, Adjustable,
Line Output Converter (LOC)
with Built-in Amplifier Remote Generator
The ADCT2 is designed to convert 2 channels of speaker level audio into 2 channels of line level
audio. This allows for the installation of line level products such as amplifiers, EQs and crossovers
on systems that do not have RCA line level outputs. In addition this device will also detect the presence
of an audio signal and then generate a +12V output (verified by an illuminated LED) that can
be used to turn-on an aftermarket amplifier..
Features: 30 Watts Maximum Input, Input Circuit Corrects Crossover Distortion Commonly
Found On Other Brands of LOCs, 6:1 Step Down with Variable Output, Gold Flashed RCAs,
Attractive & Durable Enclosure. The ADCT2 will shut off 30 seconds after no signal detected.
Installation: The ADCT2 should be installed on a stereo’s speaker output wires or the output wires
on an OEM amplifier of up to 30 watts per channel. These wires can be found behind the stereo in
the dash, on the outside of an OEM amplifier, or on the input terminals on the OEM speakers.
Wire Color & Function: The audio input wire colors are an EIA standard for car stereo applications
as follows:
INPUT SIDE: POWER HARNESS:
WHITE = LEFT Front (+) Input YELLOW = BATTERY +12V Input
WHITE/BLACK = LEFT Front (-) Input GRAY = POWER (-) GROUND Input
GRAY = RIGHT Front + Input BLUE = REMOTE +12V Output
GRAY/BLACK = RIGHT Front (-) Input THE ABOVE POWER WIRES CAN BE CONNECTED
BLACK/WHITE = ReferenceGround(-) DIRECTLY TO THE AMPLIFIER BEING ADDED
NOTE: Be sure that all audio input connections are polarized or in phase with each other. That is,
the positive output wires from the audio source need to be connected to the corresponding positive
input wires of the ADCT2. The same goes for the negative audio wires. Failure to do this will
result in poor bass response and low quality audio.
Adjusting the ADCT2 for maximum performance: After completing all of the necessary connections,
turn the ADCT2 adjustment pots all of the way down by rotating them completely counterclockwise.
Now, turn the stereo system on and adjust the main volume control on the stereo to
approximately 3/4 maximum volume. Select one of the adjustment pots on the ADCT2 and turn it
slowly clockwise until you notice audio distortion and then stop. Turn the remaining pot to the
same position as the previously adjusted pot. The audio set-up of the ADCT2 is now complete and
ready to be enjoyed.2018 ZL1 A10 Convertible, Kooks Longtube Headers (to be installed 8Jan) Full Kooks exhaust from Kooks R&D in Mooresville, NC, ZL1 painted GFX, My ShowStopper Custom Engine Cover Kit and painted CAI. For Sale! Color Shift Lights coming soon[/SIZE][/B]
