I have Blue Ray Metalic (Dark Blue). I don't like seeing the little swirls that are starting to appear.
Its not cheap and its a lot of work, but worth every penny. I had a black 2003 cobra for 4 years, when I sold it it looked better than most brand new black cars do. I applied it twice a year and made sure I used proper wash/dry methods to maintain the finish. I still use it once in a while on the yellow I have now. Autogeek carries it, you can read up on it there.

Go to Camaro5.com or youtube and search Junkman. There is an art to cleaning a car properly. Our Camaro is 3 years old and has almost no swirls.
I think Adams polishes also has some videos.
I like Adams stuff, but you can't get it in the store.
Would be curious as to what Ted (KYSMYSS) uses. His baby SHINES!
OK, here's my secret to the shine on my car, the sun. LOL. Really, I use Meguiars #21 Synthetic Sealer and their Ultimate Detailer a long with Meguiars Tech Wax. There one other thing you should look into, when I had my stripes first painted on, Countryside Customs did a complete buff and detail on the car and that was almost 4 years ago. The buffing they do is a 4 step process that really works but is not cheap, $399. Sure you can have your car buffed for $100 to $150 but it's not the same. No wham bam thank you mam, you get what you pay for. My car had orange peel and was a little shiny when I first got it and the finish is so much better now.

There's a shop here in Blo/No that does a 4 Step Buff with an amazing result. I used to do a 3 Step process on my Trans Am fiinishing with Liquid Glass and had great results.
Where does one take a class on detailing? Sounds interesting!
For the right $$$ ill teach you how to do it!! It's not hard, and with a dual action polisher it's hard to damage your finish. I was able to practice on my company cars, but I never damaged them.
