What to do about brakes appearance?

Hello all,

First Post. I have a black 2LT RS. I love it. Replaced gold bowties with black billet. Replaced front yellow turn signals with black ones with yellow bulbs. Mounted Radar detector. Removed Camaro side emblems. I love the way this car looks/ drives. Now the only thing that bothers me is the appearance of the brakes through the rims. I found these cheap red brembo covers on ebay which bolt on that are probably fake. I dont really want a splash of red on a black on black car. My Ducati has a set of Black Brembos on it. I would love to have that look. I wonder if I should get a set painted black and then decaled in white? Or is that just stupid?

Just looking for options?

PS. Got my Camaro 12/31/09 and have gotten pulled over 5 times and gotten 3 tickets. One just 'cause I looked like I was going too fast.

Well first off, WELCOME TO THE PARTY!


And 2nd, I think that would look GREAT. The black with white emblems...

don't put the "brembo" covers that just looks so getto and they might come off and cause some real damage

and if you want to spend the money you can buy stock SS brembo brakes send them to showstopper to get them painted however you like them and install them on your 2LT they just bolt on no major modifications needed

Do this, get a set of SS take offs like I did then have them painted by Showstopper (Pete) to match the car with the white Brembo lettering.

Welcome Sebough. I too am having mine painted by Pete at Showstoppers. I saw them and he did an awesome job. I'd contact him if I were you, you won't regret it.
