I just installed a set of four Goodyear Super-car tires! :-)) Fronts are 285/35ZR20 and rears are 305/35ZR20. I mounted them my self and let me tell you, not eZ! I Personally think all Camaro SS should have came stock with Goodyear Supercar tires!

Sharp looking tires, I still love the chrome stock wheels.

I can understand why they were so hard to mount, looks like you put them on factory wheels, the factory wheels are 8 inch wide on front and 9 inch wide on rear. The preferred rim width for that size front tire is 10 and the minimum recommended rim width from Goodyear on those fronts is 9.5 and the rears preferred rim width is 11 and minimum is 10. The factory wheels are to small for those tire sizes. Can you jam them on? Yes Will they wear and corner the way they are supposed to with the sidewalks sucked in? No. Especially on the front since when turning the sidewalls are sucked in and not standing straight up the tire will roll over more under cornering. Resulting in poor wear and lost performance and safety.
Those sizes are great for the Camaro no doubt. I also have those sizes on my car except I have the Pirelli Pzero with the correct size wheels. I have the Goodyears and Pirellis in stock for those interested in those sizes however in my opinion Anyone looking to spend that much money on tires should look to get the most for their money and do it correctly and safely with the right size wheels.

Actually sidewalls are vertical and in my opinion look way better than P-zeros.

Frank I agree the look is great. That's why Chevy did it on the ZL1 however there is a right way and a wrong way to do things. And when you do it wrong negative things can happen. Just look up the specs, that says it all That's why the ZL1 has 10 and 11 inch wheels with those tire sizes. Maybe its me maybe its my 40 years of tire experience but I have seen those tire sizes mounted on factory wheel and I could clearly see the sidewall is sucked in.
