Actually if otterbox makes it for your phone, they have great clips/holsters that clip right to the visor

I have the proclip, with an adapter plate to a garmin size ball mount, and a garmin sized socket on the back of the slipgrip holder.... So i can use phone or garmin on same mount

Did you get one of the universal ones? I found the slipgrip holders, as I was looking for a direct fit holder that fit my phone in a case

I have a universal gooseneck holder mounted to the passenger seat track, it works great there because the wire for the USB port is nicelly out of the way, had it for almost a year and had cero problems, It can be use it on landscape mode for the GPS on the iphone, so far I love it and was pretty cheap on ebay

SVT, that one seems a bit more appealing only because I'm worried about that other bracket leaving marks on the console. Do you have a link to the one you have?

The one I have clips at the bottom of the console answer the inbetween the console and the shifter plate.... No marks so far, can put it on and off in a quick second, too if not using it

Can't find the link of the one I bought but this two are pretty close and looks even better than mine,

one is 15 inch and the other 18 inch, don't remember how big is mine.

I didn't even had to drill any holes, the track on the passenger side has a hole in the end of the track so I just got a stainless steel bolt, couple of washers and a nylon locking nut and put the bolt thru the holder bracket and the hole on the seat track washer on top and bottom then the nut, and hasn't moved or cause any problems.

The ProClips are great. I have one of their universal (adjustable) phone clips attached to a custom tablet mount that is bolted to the passenger-side dash trim piece (dash applique, in GM terms ). I used to have it hanging from the rear-view stalk, but, did not want to get hassled by the cops.

Oh! If anyone does get a ProClip and the console mount, you need the riser plate, otherwise, the bottom of the phone is too close to the console for the charging cord.
