  • The dreaded front plate bracket...

    Please tell me someone knows how to get that thing off, I have a new lower grill to install but the front plate bracket looks to be riveted in place.

    Probably is riveted, you will
    Have to drill the rivets out.

                        Took all of about 10 minutes to drill the rivets out and I picked up some black bumper plugs from AutoZone for $4 to fill the holes perfectly...talk about a great & cheap mod.

                            I'm going to try to mount my front plate the way I did on my old TBSS, with black zipties and furniture felt pads in back so the plate would not rub... I'm going to try mounting it offset to one side...

                            2010 Camaro SS/RS L99
                            13.15@106 1.95 stock
                            11.84@113 1.59 bolt-ons stock internal
                            10.90@125 1.47 GPI VVT Cam + Bo White Ported Heads
