ABL on my 1LT

Probably old news for some, but I just finished my ABL on the dash and with the ABL on the doors that I did yesterday it looks awesome, I feel like I am driving a brand new car, had all the stuff just sitting on a box for almost 2 years don't know why I didn't do it sooner,
anyway!!! just waiting from my ABL for the cup holder from Tony@SJMautoprods and I will be riding in style

You may benefit from our passenger-side tuned ABL pipe (less dimming in the middle).

What is the difference between this one(tyco) and your tuned pipe?

Tuned means that they emit more light in the middle than at the ends, so, this evens it up a bit.

I used the gap metod, I think I need to gap the dash insert a little bit more in the middle, let me play around with it for a while, then I will give you a call.

I got the door panels from ebay out of a 2SS for $200, they already had the ABL so I just had to wire them to the power window switches it took about 5 min each, then I had the light pipe and the LED's for almost a year and got them from Steve (orange5thgen) and I think he sold them to me for $150 and that took about 2 hours,

if you are interested on doing it, you might want to talk with Tony@SJMautoprods he might be able to get a whole package together, except for the door pannels maybe.

Just a update, here is my ABL with the SJMautoprod turquoise cup holder but painted the edge of the plexy glass with blue permanent marker and it looks pretty damn close to the stock GM aqua blue LED's,

sometimes I am amazed at my genius.

PS Tony, I need the passenger side light pipe ASAP to get rid of that dark spot on my ABL, I didn't realized that I broke my TYCO light pipe and it's not transmitting the full light across the dash and it's bothering the heck out of me

Is it dry-erase or permanent?

Did the test with the dry erase, but that wiped off too easy,

but for the final install I used a blue permanent sharpie, I just colored one cup holder at a time then wipe some of it with a paper towel, don't let it dry, then do the other cup holder and then wipe it off, the plexy looks perfect, no streaks just looks like the plexy has a blue hue.

That was my first idea, but decided not to mess with the LED's and probably screw up my cup holder

Stopped and got a blue Sharpie for my door handle LED's with the turquoise. Not bad!

yeah can you get me the iced blue, Im not liking the turquois, I want to take them out and put the iced blue in, seriously order me the stuff so pete can throw it in there for me, Thanks
