Window tints look great on the camaro. I just got nailed in jan for a $250 ticket in the city. Went to contest it and no luck :'( ive had them on for a year and barely got a ticket. Sucks!!

You have 35%? I thought those are legal now, what was their reasoning?

I'm going to Nino in a week or two, he's a hard person to get an appointment with.

35% is legal, so long as you don't have anything darker anywhere on the car. If there's darker than 35% on the rear windows, that is where they can get ya. If you want extra dark on the rear, the front side windows have to be clear or max 15% i dont remember which

Did they measure your rear window? I thought they can only measure the sides, especially on our cars

I believe it's 35% with a +- 5% discrepancy. I might be wrong though. which means yeah.. Technically 30% should still be legal.

I just looked it up... If you have 30% or less on rear glass, you can only use 50% on the side windows. If you don't have anything on the rear, you can go 35% all around. (plus or minus 5% variance)

I just looked it up... If you have 30% or less on rear glass, you can only use 50% on the side windows. If you don't have anything on the rear, you can go 35% all around. (plus or minus 5% variance)

It was 35% in Illinois before. But if you live in Chicago (which i do) Chicago doesn't allow window tinting on windows adjacent to the driver because its a safety hazard to police
