Powder Pro in Woodstock did my calipers and they have also done other member's parts. They do lots of wheels.

Tony, what did they charge for doing the calipers?

I'll double check, but, it was around $200 for the basic job. I did add filling and grinding for another $100.

Tony, did you have to disasemble your calipers and take them to Powder Pro or did you take them your car and they did all the work?

                Thanks,
                FF

I had a spare set, so, I dropped them off and they took them apart, coated them, and I picked them up reassembled.

I know that you can just drive there for wheels and they will do it all. May be the case with calipers, too.

Something to consider come spring time. I've also thought about the painted caliper covers offered at ChevyMall.com. They claim to help reduce brake dust. That sounds appealing to me because I think these are the worst I've dealt with concerning brake dust.

If I decided to go with powder coating, I'll just call Powder Pro and see what they'll do. All said and done, will probably be about the same cost either way I go.

                    Thanks again!

I just talked with Sean at Powder Pro. For anyone interested in coating Brembos, he charges $300 and another $40 for decals. They accept parts shipped to them in case you don't want to make the drive to Woodstock. That's probably not an issue for most of you, but it's a 150 mile round trip for me.

I just got my 20" factory wheels done matte black by Sean at Powder Pro about two weeks ago. If you bring the wheels to powder coat its $400. If you bring the car in and they do all the work its $550.

If I can get the money together, I'll definitely get this down with my 19" rims.
