New car swirl marks already!?

Ok so as you guys know i purchased my new Camaro on the 19th. On the show room I did not see any indication of swirl marks. Today has really been the first really clear day (at least where ive been by my car)

I noticed looking at the right angle there are swirl marks on the car already! I haven't washed it since I got it. Must be from the dealer?

My car had the same issue. Turns out the dealer washed it right before delivery, and they just use the old style brushed car wash. I took to their attention all the way to the owner and the knocked $500 off my car for their mistake.

+1 on the PC. I bought a starter kit for $195 from detailedimage.com.

DI Packages Porter Cable 7424 XP 6.5" Starter. Came with a bunch of different pads. For a newer car you wouldn't use all the pads that come with the kit because some are aggressive. I have an older truck that needs some work so it worked out for me.

Anyone notice how bad the trunk stripes were jacked up on the 45th anniversary Camaro at MCACN?? Looked like someone washed it withs handful of rocks.

The menzerna nano polish is the best thing I've ever seen/used for black. Mercedes uses it for their cars to fix imperfections at the factory.

No, online only. It's not cheap but well worth it. They now offer a 16 oz bottle and the price has come down. It was. $70 for a 32oz when I bought it.

Is there a waiting list for that? I've got some swirlies...but I could not pin it on the dealer. Bought mine slightly used...

I have not washed it. Dealer must have. I would like to bring it to the dealers attention but I'm not sure if they will do anything.

Club PC.... Hmmm might have to try it. Never detailed a car to that extreme. My G8 had no swirl marks after 60k miles and going through automatic car washes.

If you have a dark car I'd buy one. If you've never done it before, ask questions and read the detail sections on the various forums. You'd have to throw the PC at the car to do any damage. However, getting rid of the swirls takes practice. Try it out on your DD, I've been using it for 10 years but when I got i started by practicing on my company cars. Over the counter polishes and swirl removers are useless, you have to go online and spend a little money if you want it right.
