Driving Light Bezel Installation

I bought the defenderworx chrome driving light bezels for the car. Can anyone tell me if you know. How do I get the black factory bezels out of the mount in order to put the new ones on?

Are the defenderworx one replacement or do they just slide over the existing?

I tried for a while to get mine out, working through the wheel wells, with no luck.

They look like replacements. They have clips on the outside that look like they snap on some sort of hook. I test fit them thinking they might be covers but they are the same diameter as the factory bezels.
